In a public statement, Bieber’s representative clarified that the Canadian singer is not one of Diddy’s alleged victims, although they acknowledged that other individuals may have truly suffered.
“While Justin Bieber is not a victim of Sean Combs, there are several individuals who were genuinely harmed by his actions,” said Bieber’s spokesperson, as reported by People on Sunday (May 18, 2025).
“To divert attention from these facts would be a disservice to the justice these victims deserve,” the spokesperson added.
The statement comes amid the ongoing trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs, which began earlier this week following a 2023 lawsuit filed by his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura. Diddy faces multiple serious charges, including sex trafficking, extortion, and criminal conspiracy.

Speculation regarding Bieber’s involvement arose due to his close relationship with Diddy during his teenage years. In 2009, a YouTube video titled “JUSTIN BIEBER’s 48 HRS with DIDDY!!” surfaced, showing the two spending time together.
In the footage, Diddy says, “We can’t tell you where we’re hanging out or what we’re doing. But this is definitely a 15-year-old’s dream.” He even once claimed to have “custody” over Bieber.
