During the livestream, Valeria was seen receiving a small piglet plush toy from an anonymous sender. She expressed concern about the unexpected gift to her followers.
Shortly after, a man entered the salon and asked if she was Valeria. When she confirmed, the man shot her in the head and stomach.
Valeria was seen clutching her stomach and chest before collapsing into a chair, while the livestream continued until someone turned off the phone that was recording the event.
Prior to the shooting, Valeria had voiced her unease during the livestream, saying she received an “expensive gift” from an unknown person through a friend named Erika. “Friend, they might want to kill me,” Valeria said in one of her live sessions.

Authorities suspect the incident to be a case of femicide the murder of a woman due to her gender.
The suspect reportedly fled on a motorcycle and is currently being pursued by law enforcement.
